The legal actions that can be brought by IDental victims against the companies that own the clinics and against the financial entities that financed the treatments were discussed.< /p>
The Consumer Credit Agreements Law of June 24, 2011 regulates linked credit agreements (art. 29). They are those that are arranged specifically for the financing of a good or a service in favor of a consumer.
IDental arranged with various banks and finance companies to grant loans to their patients with which to cover the cost of dental treatments. The clients did not have the slightest contact with these entities, limiting themselves to signing the documentation that was shown to them, the owner of the clinic assuming all its processing.

The criminal case being investigated by the Central Investigating Court No. 5 against the architects of this plot was also commented on on the radio. There are multiple indications of irregularities that could have a criminal incidence ; Customers were falsely led to believe that more than 80 percent of the cost was subsidized by the Administration, which is why the price to pay was significantly reduced.
Thanks to the records ordered by the Court, the clinical histories are being rescued. It is certain that in the course of these proceedings it will be possible to investigate the responsibilities that could have been incurred, due to negligence in vigilando, by the public administrations with competencies in the health field.
There is already talk of the process with the highest number of victims in Spanish judicial history, which could affect 400,000 consumers. Bearing in mind that in the future deficiencies may manifest themselves in dental work that until now have not been observed. The deficient quality of the material used in IDental and the low qualification of the health personnel who acted have led to this considerable damage.
